Welcome to Wild Heather

Wildheather is changing 🐛🦋. I am ending my time as a Lowland Leader Provider, however, I will be switching to becoming a Course director, supporting, mentoring and still running courses. My focus will be my adventures and volunteering. I’m heading out to thru hike the PCT this year. I hope to hike more of the US, NZ, Spain and of course the UK and Ireland.     Lowland Leader is a National Governing Body walking leader award

    Training - 16 hours

    consolidation period

    Assessment - 16 hours

    National Navigation Award Scheme (NNAS) courses are personal up-skill navigation awards 

    Bronze and Silver awards

    Tutor award - for those with experience who wish to teach others or apply to NNAS as a provider

  • Navigation Workshops

    Small group or family days for example with children taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh award
